With outstanding participation from teachers and principals of targeted educational institutions within the UGEL Anta district, the series of in-person workshops for the 2026 Educational Innovation Specialization Course, organized by the Alma Enseñanza Innovadora association, began. This important event, held during the month of April, marked the start of a training process aimed at strengthening pedagogical skills to meet the challenges of 21st-century education.
More than traditional training, the workshops were developed using an experiential methodology that allowed teachers to experience innovative strategies directly applicable in the classroom. Fundamental topics were addressed, enabling participants to learn practical tools to promote critical analysis, improve classroom interaction, and understand the close relationship between emotions and meaningful learning. One of the aspects most valued by the participants was the institutional support of the program, since upon completion of the course, teachers will receive dual certification from the Universidad Científica del Sur and the Regional Education Management Office, giving this training official validity for the teaching profession. At Alma Enseñanza Innovadora, we highlight the enthusiasm and active participation of the teachers from the Anta Local Education Management Unit (UGEL Anta), thus reaffirming our shared commitment to continue promoting an innovative, humanistic education focused on the holistic development of students. This initiative represents the first step in ongoing support aimed at transforming pedagogical practice through experience and innovation.
