Back in June 2012, we held our inaugural Island Party Fundraiser, hoping for a way to bring our many friends and supporters together. With the goals of connecting past Alma supporters, and to celebrate all that you helped us achieve, we were excited to raise enough money to support a project for a full year cycle.
Fast forward to the party last Thursday, June 20th – our Second Island Party Fundraiser – we hope you’ll agree there was something special about the evening. From the cool island breeze, the excellent Peruvian food and drink to the hopping dance floor by nightfall, everyone was having a great time, meeting new connections and showing their support of Alma – it warmed our hearts!
We surpassed our expectations again this time round – doubling our success from last year and raising enough to support two projects for a full year! Thank you to everyone that made it out and for your continued support and interest in Alma.
