Some of the youngest kids in the community, less than 6 years old, who attend the Sariry program, have parents who, out of economic necessity, have had to leave for other places in search of work, leaving the young children in the care of their grandmothers. When these kids entered the program they showed mistrust, loneliness, and mild malnutrition. Now, they are adequately nutritious for their age, more creative, lively, and sociable due to the work of the program. For all the work and support Alma Foundation provides, Sariry joins in to say thanks for the unconditional commitment.
Algunos niños/as menores de 6 años de edad que asisten a Sariry, son hijos de jóvenes de la comunidad, se hicieron padres, madres de familia siendo adolescentes y por la responsabilidad económica que les toco asumir para cubrir las necesidades básicas de sus hijos se vieron obligados a salir de país en busca de trabajo, dejando a sus hijos a cargo de la abuela. Cuando los niño/as ingresaron a la institución presentaban desconfianza, soledad, desnutrición leve, actualmente se encuentran con nutrición adecuada a su edad gracias al servicio de nutrición complementaria, al trabajo psicopedagógico que brinda la institución. Podemos observar niños creativos, llenos de vida, sociables, etc. POR TODA LA LABOR QUE REALIZA Y APOYO QUE NOS BRINDA FUNDACIÓN ALMA, SARIRY SE SUMA A ESE AGRADECIMIENTO DE LAS FAMILIAS.
