On April 30th of this year, the first induction workshop was held with targeted teachers from three educational institutions within the Quispicanchi UGEL jurisdiction. During this session, a general introduction to the Alma Innovative Teaching educational proposal was provided.
The workshop began with the collection of the main learning needs identified by the teachers in their educational institutions. Based on this, a simulation of specific strategies was developed for each module of the course, such as classroom management, communication, mathematics, and socio-emotional well-being. This process allowed for the active participation of the teachers, who reflected on their own pedagogical practices, recognizing that, in some cases, the use of traditional strategies that are not aligned with the approaches proposed by the National Curriculum still persists.
Teacher Reydelinda, principal of the [School Name], participated in this workshop. No. 50518 from the community of Usi, in the district of Quiquijana, province of Quispicanchi, whose educational institution won the FONDEP 2025 competition with the project entitled “Ñawinchayninchik Kallpachakun: Induction Model for Reading Competence in Intercultural Bilingual Education (EIB).” This project was developed during the 2025 Pedagogical Innovation course and was characterized by the implementation of the “induction model” strategy, adapted to the reality of the students at that institution.
During her presentation, the principal shared her experience in developing the winning project, highlighting the process, the challenges, and the achievements. Her testimony served as a source of motivation for the participating teachers, whom she encouraged to apply the strategies proposed by the Alma Association, emphasizing that these generate positive results in student learning when appropriately contextualized.
In conclusion, the workshop allowed participants to learn about an innovative approach, leaving them satisfied and motivated, ready to take on the challenge of implementing the strategies in their classrooms to improve the quality of their students’ learning.
