WHEN A STRATEGY BECOMES A PRACTICE NEW

During the pedagogical support visits conducted by the Alma Enseñanza Innovadora team, we encounter experiences that allow us to see how the commitment of school administrators and teachers can transform a pedagogical strategy into a collaborative practice within the educational institution.
This is the case at Educational Institution No. 56045 in Combapata. Under the leadership of its principal, Felicia Condori, and with the active participation of the teaching staff, the school took the initiative to institutionalize the “Induction Model” strategy—promoted by Alma—to strengthen reading comprehension. This experience went a step further: teachers leveraged the strategy as part of their preparation for and participation in the “El Perú Lee” (Peru Reads) national contest, an initiative by the Ministry of Education aimed at strengthening reading comprehension and developing complex thinking skills among students.
Experiences like this demonstrate that innovation takes on real meaning when teachers apply a strategy and find it effective, allowing it to evolve into an institutional practice. For Alma, it is gratifying to see that the strategies we share contribute to strengthening pedagogical practice and that, through collaborative work, teachers continue to create better learning opportunities for their students.
