Alejandro is 10 years old and lives in the Manguita community. Until recently he was a shy boy and not very sociable and did not have good grades in school.
As a student in the Alma program, Alejandro is beginning to show encouraging signs in school performance and his teachers said recently he is a lovely boy.
Our program, through the teachers who implement it, not only works on curricular content but also work on values, capacities and social development in students.
Parents in our community and his own classmates applauded the progress of Alejandro, who at the end of the past school year achieved an outstanding final evaluation. It was a moment of joy for all, we are seeing the results of the Alma Foundation programs in the children and youth of the communities in which we work.
